The Yamato Scale Digital Transformation system is designed to integrate the Yamato Scale weighing machines into your automated manufacturing process. Our digital solution allows you to incorporate the weighing machines into your production and control system to make them a perfectly functioning homogeneous unit. All you have to do is install the machine and connect it to your operating system.
Compatible with OPC UA
The Yamato Scale weighing equipment is fully compatible with OPC UA. OPC UA is one of the most important communication protocols for Industry 4.0 and Internet of Things (IoT). OPC UA provides a standardized access to machines, devices and other systems in the industrial environment and enables similar and manufacturer-independent data exchange. The Yamato weighing equipment has an extra label for OPC UA certification.

Integration of the Yamato weighing machines
The process is simple. All that needs to be done is for our technicians to install the Yamato Scale weighing equipment in the packaging line of your production. They will then set up the required applications. The Yamato weighers all have all systems on board to communicate with SCADA and MES architecture. The connection is via W-LAN or Ethernet and coordinated with the OPC UA. The SCADA integration ensures the data exchange and the monitoring process. It represents the control system architecture comprising the computers, the networked data communication and the graphical user interfaces for production managers and high-level process supervisory management in your company. Figure X depicts the automation process of a manufacturer approaching Industry 4.0 for a self-governed factory.
